  • Dr.
    Aaron D. Wilkin

Dr Aaron Wilkin learned the importance of chiropractic care as he himself became a patient at a young age due to a sports injury. He saw the positive impact chiropractic has on the body and the wellbeing of the patient and decided as a high school student to choose chiropractic as his future career.

He graduated from Michigan State with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. During his undergrad years he did an internship in Charlevoix with Dr. Rick Randall. He continued his education at Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas. Parker is known for its vast curriculum and diversity of techniques as well as the knowledgeable professors, guest speakers, and seminars.

After graduating Dr Wilkin practiced in Oak Park Illinois for one year. His love for Northern Michigan drew him away from the city and to Charlevoix. Dr Wilkin began practicing in Charlevoix in 2008.

Dr Wilkin specializes in chiropractic care for the whole family. He sees patients aged from infants to elderly. He uses a combination of many techniques including activator, diversified, gonstead, SOT and natural remedies. He is a Certified Postural Exercise Professional (CPEP). He has a whole-body approach to healing by treating not only the spine, but also extremities. He is a member of Michigan Association of Chiropractors.

Away from the practice, Dr Wilkin’s interests include boating, swimming, hiking, golfing, and spending time with his wife Amanda, daughter Alia and dog Spartacus. He enjoys MSU sports. He is an active member of the Charlevoix community, currently serving on the Rotary Club of Charlevoix Board of Directors and is a two-time Paul Harris fellow. He served for 8 years on the Keep Charlevoix Beautiful Board as the President. He volunteers for multiple events within the community.

  • Dr.
    Brandon Weaver

    Brandon Weaver, DC, MS

Dr. Brandon Weaver has always had a keen interest in health and fitness. He attended Iowa State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology and health. While completing his coursework, Brandon enjoyed working with clients as a Certified Person Trainer. He discovered that educating and supporting his clients in taking steps towards life changes in exercise and healthy eating was rewarding. However, Dr. Weaver also recognized his limitations and decided to further his education to expand his skillset in helping others to achieve overall health.

Dr. Weaver and his wife, Sarah, moved to Portland, Oregon so that he could attend a highly regarded school with a strong foundation in evidence based medicine, the University of Western States. Brandon successfully completed his program cum laude. Dr. Weaver’s coursework was grounded in the latest chiropractic, nutrition and rehabilitation techniques. Brandon took a special interest in rehabilitation and sport performance and decided to duel enroll in a Masters of Science in Sports Medicine program. This specialized focus provided Brandon with the training needed to educate athletes on the latest nutrition research and practice sports injury rehabilitation procedures. After graduation, the Weavers moved east to be closer to family and landed in beautiful northern Michigan.

Dr. Weaver believes in a holistic approach to health care. He understands how important it is to find the root cause of pain in contrast to treating only the symptoms. In practice, Dr. Weaver combines a number of therapeutic techniques, including chiropractic manipulation, corrective exercises, myofascial release, kinesiology taping and nutrition to best treat his patients. He specializes in both acute and chronic low back pain (sciatica), neck pain and shoulder pain. He also has a special interest in treating extremity injuries including: elbow, wrist, hand, knee and foot pain. Above all else, he is also a strong advocate of patient empowerment. He believes in educating his patients about the underlying cause of their pain, what they can do to prevent future injuries, and how to achieve the highest quality of life.

When Dr. Weaver is not treating patients, he enjoys spending time exercising, hunting, fishing and exploring northern Michigan’s hiking, cross county skiing and snowshoeing trails with his wife and their energetic dog, Boda.
